Selecting PRINCE2 training

The PRINCE2 training market is hugely competitive in the UK right now. There are over 70 PRINCE2 accredited training organizations offering PRINCE2 courses in the UK. The demand for PRINCE2 training continues although at a rather reduced rate compared with 2 or 3 years ago.

So how do you select a good PRINCE2 training company?

Firstly, I would suggest that you ask them how many students there are in a class. Knowledge Train only runs PRINCE2 training courses with a maximum of 12 students per class. Some training companies squeeze up to 30 students per class. How do I know this? Because PRINCE2 trainers who have worked for these companies have told me.

Secondly, what is their PRINCE2 exam pass rate? A large class taught by inexperienced trainers is not going to achieve high pass rates. The cheaper the class, the more likely the course will be run by someone who has little experience of training.

Thirdly, what are the quality of their training materials? A good PRINCE2 training company will provide colour training materials and will provide custom-written course study guides to help prepare you for the class.
